What we collect

When you submit the quote form or a contact form, we collect:

• Your name, so we know who we are talking to.
• Your mobile number, to send your quote and coordinate the visit.
• Your email address, if you give us one. It is optional.
• Your ZIP code, to confirm you are inside our service area.
• What you told us about the job, including the services you selected and anything you typed in the notes.

We also record the browser user agent string with your submission, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address.

We do not store your IP address itself. It is combined with a secret value and hashed, and only the hash is saved. We use it to stop the same source flooding our forms, and it cannot be reversed back into an address.

What we do not collect

• We do not ask for or store payment card details on this website.
• We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or any government identifiers.
• We do not track you across other websites.
• We do not buy contact lists or append data about you from third parties.

Why we collect it

To give you a price, to schedule and carry out work you have asked for, to send you the proof report for your job, and to answer you when you contact us. We also keep records of quotes and jobs so we can honor the guarantee and answer questions about past work.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

We use these service providers, and they only receive what they need to do their job:

• Cloudflare — Website hosting, database storage, and bot protection.
• Resend — Email delivery.
• Google Analytics — Website visit and button-click statistics, with no personal details.

Work at your property may be carried out by a vetted independent technician. Where that happens, they receive the details needed to do the job, such as your name, address, contact number, and what work was booked. They are not permitted to use your information for anything else.

We will also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

We keep lead and quote records for about 24 months, and records of completed jobs for longer where we need them for the guarantee, for insurance, or for tax and accounting purposes. After that, records are deleted or anonymized.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. Our bot protection and hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working — for example, to identify automated traffic. Those are not used to build a profile of you.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. It sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not store in full. We do not use it for advertising, and we never send it your name, phone number, email address or the text of your message. Only the production site runs it. You can block it with a browser setting or extension and the site will work the same.

If we add advertising measurement later, we will update this page before it goes live.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number we may text you about your job. What we send, how often, and how to stop is set out in our SMS terms. Tell us to stop and we will stop.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop contacting you.

Call or text (623) 777-8504, or email hello@proofvent.com, and tell us what you want done. We will not make you jump through hoops, and we will not charge you for it.

Children

This is a home services business and the site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our hosting provider. Access is limited to people who need it to run the business. No system is perfectly secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise, but we do not collect data we do not need, which is the most effective protection available.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
