How the price is built
Duct cleaning is priced by system and by vent, not by square foot. The first system is $449 with up to 12 supply vents. Each additional system is $299, and each vent beyond 12 is $25. Duct sanitizing is $99 per system and is optional.
Dryer vents are priced by the exit. A first-floor wall exit is $129. A roof or second-floor exit is $179, because it takes roof or ladder access. If you are not sure which you have, see where an upstairs dryer duct goes.

Questions about the calculator
- Is this the price I will pay?
- It is the published price for what you select. The technician counts your systems and vents with you at the door and confirms the total before any work starts. If something differs, you hear the corrected price and approve it by text first.
- How do I count supply vents?
- Count the registers that blow air into rooms, including bathrooms and closets with a vent. Do not count the large return grilles that pull air back. The base price covers up to 12 supply vents on one system, and each vent beyond that is $25.
- How do I know how many HVAC systems I have?
- Count the thermostats, or the air handlers in the attic or closets. Most homes have one. Larger or two-story homes often have two or more, and each additional system is priced separately.
- Does a bigger house cost more?
- Only if it has more systems or more vents. We do not price by square footage.
- Do I need duct cleaning at all?
- Often not. The EPA says duct cleaning should be done as needed, not routinely. Our guide on whether it is worth it lists the conditions that justify it. A dryer vent is the service most homes actually need.
- Is there a travel charge or a coupon?
- No travel charge, and no coupon is needed. The price is the same in every city we serve.
