Who we are

Proof Vent & Duct LLC is a home services business operating in the Phoenix metropolitan area. You contract with us. Work may be carried out by vetted independent technicians, and we remain responsible to you for it.

Pricing

Our prices are published on this site. The price shown for a service is the price you pay for that service as described, and it does not change because of where you live inside our service area.

Some prices depend on facts about your property, such as whether a dryer vent exits through a wall or a roof, how many supply vents a system has, or how many HVAC systems there are. The technician confirms those facts with you at your door and confirms the price before any work starts.

If the job turns out to be smaller than you described, you pay the smaller published price. If it turns out to be larger, you are told the corrected price before work begins and you can decline.

Where you answered "not sure" during a quote, the estimate is shown as a range. The exact figure is confirmed on arrival.

Additional work

Nothing is added to your job without your approval. If a technician finds something else worth doing, you receive the published price for it and you decide. Our technicians are not paid commission, bonuses, or targets on additional work.

Scheduling and access

You need to provide access to the property and to the equipment being worked on. Someone must be present to confirm the price at the door before work starts.

Attic and roof work is scheduled in early morning windows during the hotter months. If conditions at your property are unsafe — an unsafe roof, an inaccessible termination, or anything else the technician judges cannot be done properly — we will stop and tell you rather than proceed.

Cancellation

You can cancel or reschedule by calling or texting us. We ask for as much notice as you can reasonably give so the window can be offered to someone else.

The guarantee

Our work is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of the job. Every job produces a proof report with before-and-after evidence and measured readings. If the result is not what that report documents, we will return and put it right, or you do not pay for that service.

The guarantee covers the work we performed. It does not cover new accumulation from continued use after the visit, damage caused by others, or faults in equipment we did not work on.

What we do not do

We clean; we don't repair. That job needs a licensed HVAC or sheet metal contractor, and we're glad to tell you what to ask them.

Specifically, we do not repair, replace, reroute or seal ductwork; we do not handle refrigerant or perform air conditioning repair; we do not perform gas work or electrical work; we do not service evaporative coolers; we do not test for or remediate mold; and we do not clean commercial kitchen hood systems.

When we find something outside that scope, we photograph it, describe it plainly, and refer it to the appropriate licensed trade. A finding in a proof report is a description of what we observed. It is not an engineering assessment, a code determination, or a warranty on the condition of your property.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed different terms with you in writing, such as invoicing arrangements for property management accounts.

Liability

We carry general liability insurance. We are responsible for loss or damage we cause. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, for the condition of equipment or ductwork we did not work on, or for consequences outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Arizona consumer protection law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your job is the one published when you booked it, and the effective date is shown at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
