Dryer vent and duct cleaning for short-term rentals
A short-term rental can run the dryer hard, and nobody is there to notice a slow one. Dryer vent cleaning is $129 flat for a standard exit, booked between guests, with before-and-after photos and airflow readings you can forward to the owner.

Why rentals are different
A short-term rental can run the dryer harder than a typical household, and a guest has no reason to notice a slow dryer or report it. That makes the dryer vent the service that matters most for a rental, and it is also the cheapest.
Birds can nest in the exit of a vent while a property sits between bookings. Valley dryer terminations are warm, sheltered and the right size. We remove nesting material and photograph it.
Booking between guests
- A standard dryer vent is a short visit. Tell us your check-out and check-in times when you book, and we will say honestly whether a window works.
- In summer, roof and attic jobs are booked in the morning, so plan around that if the laundry is upstairs.
- If you manage several properties, send us the list. Three or more units on the same property are priced per unit.
A record you can send the owner
Every job produces before-and-after photos and airflow readings, sent to your phone before the technician leaves. If you are a co-host, that is a dated record you can forward to the owner.
What you probably do not need
Duct cleaning is not something to do between every stay. Do it if there is debris coming out of the registers, a pest problem, or after a renovation with the system running. Otherwise do the dryer vent once a year, and sooner if you see the signs.
We clean and document. We do not repair, and we do not sell you add-ons at the door.

Questions
- How often should a short-term rental dryer vent be cleaned?
- Once a year is a sensible starting point for most households, and a rental with heavy laundry may want it more often. The signs guide below explains what to watch for. A cleaning is $129 for a standard wall exit, and $179 for a roof or second-floor exit.
- Can you work around guest check-in?
- Tell us the windows when you book. We will say honestly whether we can fit them, rather than promise one we might miss.
- I manage several properties. Is there a bulk price?
- Three or more units on the same property are $89 per unit. For separate properties, each is priced as a single job.
- Do you offer a camera inspection without cleaning?
- Yes. A camera inspection and airflow test is $89, and it tells you whether the vent needs cleaning before you pay for it.
- What if something needs repair?
- We list it with a photo and a plain description, and you send it to your own contractor. We do not do repairs.
- Is there a guarantee?
- Yes, 90 days on every job. If the result is not what the proof report shows, we come back or you do not pay for that service.
