Hours

  • Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm
  • Saturday 8am to 2pm

Calls and texts outside these hours are answered the next working morning. From roughly May through September we schedule roof and attic work early in the day, so those windows go first.

Where we work

The Phoenix metro, from the West Valley through Phoenix and Scottsdale out to the southeast Valley. The published price is the same in every city we serve, and there is no trip fee anywhere in the area.

Email: hello@proofvent.com

Proof Vent & Duct LLC. We are a mobile service and work from your address, so there is no storefront to visit.

Before you call about something we do not do

We clean; we don't repair. That job needs a licensed HVAC or sheet metal contractor, and we're glad to tell you what to ask them.

We do not repair, replace, reroute or seal ductwork. No refrigerant or air conditioning repair, no gas or electrical work, no evaporative cooler service, no mould testing or remediation, and no commercial kitchen hood systems. Call us anyway if you are not sure which side of that line your problem falls on, and we will tell you plainly and point you at the right trade.

Questions about getting in touch

What is the fastest way to get a price?
The instant quote. It takes under a minute, it does not involve a phone call, and the number it gives you is the published price for the work you described, not an estimate someone revises later.
Will someone call me back if I text?
Only if you ask us to. If you text, we text back. Plenty of people would rather settle this without a phone call, and that is a perfectly reasonable way to buy something.
What should I include in the first message?
Your city, whether your laundry is upstairs or downstairs, and roughly how many supply vents you have if you are asking about ducts. Those three things are usually enough for an exact price rather than a range.
How quickly do you answer?
During working hours, quickly. Outside them, the next working morning. We would rather tell you that than claim a response time we cannot keep on a busy week.
Can I ask whether I need the work at all?
Yes, and it is a good use of a phone call. A lot of what we publish explains when a service is not worth buying. If the answer is that you do not need it yet, that is what you will hear.

What happens next

You get the published price for the work you describe, a window rather than a vague promise, and a text when the technician is on the way. Nothing is added at your house without your approval by text first, and the work is guaranteed for 90 days.
